ACS was asked to pour 4,000 plus square feet of concrete floor to provide a flat surface that was ready to receive resilient floor goods. After the old wood floors were removed, the concrete fill was out of level in some places as much as 3″ and the demolition company was having trouble removing the embedded wood sleepers. In addition, a great deal of adhesive residue was left on the concrete.
Since the concrete fill and sleepers were solid in most places, ACS used a 1 1/2″ average of GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certified Dura-Cap to flatten the floor and resolve the floor problems for this general contractor. Projects such as this are able to be completed in as little as one to two days with light traffic able to continue work the next day.
