Lakewood Flats Urban Apartments – Dallas, TX

Lakewood Flats is a garden style apartment project located in Dallas Texas. The complex was completed in late 2012 by Greystar Development. ACS was contracted by Greystar to install a sound control system in addition to provide concrete and waterproofing on the balconies and in the breezeways.

The sound control system was a 1″ gypsum topping over 1/4″ sound mat at the hard surface areas and a gypsum topping only in the carpeted areas.

The waterproofing system was a galvanized base flashing with membrane tape flashing over the vertical leg. We used our standard 60 mil waterproofing membrane and aluminum t-bar with drip flashing at the balcony edge.
