Stillwell Renovation Building – Port Arthur, Texas

This leveling project completed by our Houston crew was a perfect example of how using our experienced crews can save you time and money. We were faced with the need for 25,000 square feet of floor leveling which included 10,000 feet of shot blasting. We used 1/2″ of a high strength gypsum underlayment as the product but our crews and crew leadership came up with the real solution.

Our production supervisor in Houston has been leveling commercial floors for more than 25 years. All commercial leveling jobs have challenges and the attention to detail required makes our experience invaluable. On this project, the owner was up against some serious deadlines so we were unable to get full sections of the building at any one time. Our team devised a plan to use flashing as pour stops so that we could do sections at a time. In addition, metal studwalls were already up so we had to shotblast and pour around the obstructions.
